Unlike what and how have been widely told by the media, Wesley Snipes was sentenced to 3‐years of imprisonment for “failure to file tax return”, NOT for tax evasion.
He NEVER was charged nor convicted of tax evasion but was convicted of
MISDEMEANOR CHARGES on willful failure to file tax return.
1. It was both of Snipes’ former accountants Kenneth Starr and Eddie Ray Kahn were convicted of several frauds and felony charges including tax evasion.
2. The both of Snipes’ former accountants had thousands of clients, who were mostly high‐profile professionals, including entertainers, lawyers, doctors, and politicians.
3. In 1999, Wesley Snipes discovered that Kenneth Starr, his former accountant and the founder of Starr & Co. had been forging his signature and stealing his funds.
4. Snipes was the first one to discover Starr’s crime and warned his fellow client of Starr’s, Sylvester Stallone who ended up suing Starr for mishandling his funds.
5. Kenneth Starr has been bitter against Snipes since.
6. At the 2008 trial, every witness against Snipes came from Kenneth Starr’s office: Starr’s son and Starr’s Employees.
7. Among 4000 clients of Eddie Ray Kahn, including lawyers, doctors, business owners and IRS EMPLOYEES whom Eddie filed the papers for, his former client, Wesley Snipes was the ONLY one who got indicted with Eddie as a co‐conspirator.
8. None of the many clients of Starr and Kahn has been accused to be a co-conspirator but only Snipes had been accused as a co‐conspirator and still accused of being a tax evader even after acquitted of every felony charge which originated from his accountant.
9. Snipes was never charged nor convicted of tax evasion.
10. Snipes was acquitted and found Not Guilty on every felony charge. Snipes was found Guilty on MISDEMEANOR Conviction – willful failure to file tax return. Starr was administrating part of Snipes’ financial affairs for those three years that Snipes failed to file which made it necessary for Starr and his company to testify against Snipes.
11. Judge Hodges sentenced Snipes to 3 years in prison for Misdemeanor convictions in order to make him an example of the crime he Never committed.
12. The media has been promoting Snipes as a tax‐evading criminal even after being acquitted of all of the felony charges.
13. The prosecutors put Kenneth Starr as a key witness against Wesley Snipes by LYING and HIDNG the fact that Kenneth Starr was named in the court record as an “Unindicted Co‐conspirator” by the prosecutors in Pelicano case for illegal wiretapping Sylvester Stallone prior to Snipes’ trial.
14. At the trial, the prosecutor requested the judge Hodges to NOT give “Community Service” for Snipes’ MISDEMEANOR convictions but Incarceration will be appropriate BECAUSE… he has too many fans.
15. In May 2010, Kenneth Starr was indicted for a Ponzi scheme in which he stole at least $20 ‐ $80 million of his clients’ money, the very thing that Snipes had claimed earlier. In October 2010, Starr pled guilty to most of the charges.
16. Two (2) jurors from Snipes’ trial sent unsolicited emails stating that there were three (3) jurors who presumed that Snipes was guilty even before the trial began but the rest of them never intended for Snipes to receive any jail time.
On November 19, Judge Hodges refused to interview the alleged jurors, denied a new trial (based on the alleged perjury of the three (3) jurors and perjured testimony of Starr, as well as the prosecutorial misconduct of the government who withheld information about Starr’s previous criminal conduct before Snipes’ trial), and revoked his bail.
Why did Judge Hodges deny the bail when everything owed and plus had been paid in full after the trial?
Why wouldn’t Judge Hodges interview the jurors?
Is the sentence will of the people or will of a judge?
Why have the media been vigorously promoting Snipes as a tax‐evader when he was never convicted of such crime?
Why do people believe the obvious propaganda?
Why do people believe that IRS wouldn’t lie but Wesley Snipes would?
Do you actually believe that you should go to jail if you ever have failed to file the tax return for some reason?
Why did Snipes get more jail time than Martha Stewart?
That’s just the tip of the iceberg that the media hasn’t told…
If this kind of injustice is enforced upon an innocent citizen and we are prone to judging and accusing him/her who is already a victimized by dishonest professionals who were hired to help in the field he/she was not educated in but rather took advantage of him/her trust in their leads… we had become a part of the injustice.
Tomorrow, it could happen to you, it could happen to me, or it could happen to anybody. And if you don’t have the means to defend yourself, you could be incarcerated in a minute.

I found the Larry King Interview very enlightening to say the least. Pointedly, Judge Joe Brown highlighted some very interesting points about the case. Hence, #7 of the aforementioned “Facts about Wesley’s Case..” above. Moreover, I wasn’t aware the he was a character witness for Wes at the trial. Relative to Wes going to jail for 3 years…Judge Joe made a VERY compelling case that it appears the in the hierarchy of a certain “Judges Club” that Wes’s conviction was a trophy that someone is surely relishing.
there is more going on with the powers that be wesley was paying back that money and they still jailed him keep the faith my bronx brother
if one knows officials in government, they usually don’t go to jail, the situation is complex and seemingly a judge ( not a jury ) made the unnecessary jail time decision.
Politics, Court Corruption, Judges trying to make a name for themselves and the predatory Media is what convicted Wesley Snipes.
